From the Soil, For the People
About
AYITIKAB is a regenerative agriculture initiative launching in Paillant, Haiti in 2026. Our mission is to restore degraded farmland, revive community orchards, and create dignified livelihoods through farming.
We begin with poultry, vegetables, and the regeneration of 300 mandarin trees on family land. From there, AYITIKAB will expand into a decentralized network of farms across southern Haiti, producing food while building local jobs, youth training, and long-term resilience.
This is not charity — it is infrastructure. AYITIKAB is designed as a model for rebuilding what Haiti already has: land, labor, and local knowledge. By combining tradition with sustainable practices, we aim to create a farm system that feeds families, restores ecosystems, and strengthens rural communities.

Meet the Founder
Ania K. Boucicaut is the founder of AYITIKAB. Born in Paillant, Haiti, she grew up surrounded by her family’s farmland, where weekends and summers meant learning the rhythms of rural life. Those roots shaped her vision: to rebuild Haiti’s farmland not just for crops, but for communities.
Now 24, Ania is a farming apprentice in Hawaii, training in poultry, agroforestry, and regenerative agriculture while preparing to launch AYITIKAB in 2026. Her approach blends Haiti’s traditions with modern sustainable practices — starting with poultry, vegetables, and the regeneration of 300 mandarin trees on her family’s land.
Her long-term vision goes beyond farming. Ania dreams of creating a decentralized network of farms across southern Haiti that generate food, jobs, and reinvestment in schools, hospitals, and infrastructure — rebuilding Haiti from the soil up.
